Our Leader
Gelson Alves is the President of PCE Design and a leading structural and glazing engineering consultant at Paramount Consulting & Engineering. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in structural design, façade and glazing systems, and building inspections. Gelson is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), originally trained in civil engineering in Brazil before relocating to the U.S.
He oversees shop drawing reviews, permit document checks, and on-site structural inspections, ensuring full code compliance and engineering precision. Having worked on 1,000+ projects across New York, Chicago, China, and South Florida, Gelson brings unmatched expertise in residential and commercial glazing engineering.
